4th of July
I'm going to go watch D.E.B.S. and work on getting my website updated.I'm going on the Sunset Strip tonight. Tomorrow a friend's play and two BBQs. Monday probably the beach.
I've spent a little bit of time being a hermit on Saturday. But today I'm off for a brunch with friends, then an evening bbq/house party. Tomorrow is a rooftop party to watch the fireworks!
My parents are having a barbecue tomrrow. They've decided to call it "Elaine's 2nd Annual Final 4th of July party," since last year everyone was so shocked that they were having it so close to her having been diagnosed.
So I was here all day yesterday, and I've been here all day today cleaning.
Not so much fun, but at least tomorrow will be. Hope your barbecues were fun, and I hope you're at the beach right now. At least one of us can be!
Yeah -- I hope you're at the beach, knocking on Geffen's door in Carbon Canyon! Give a kiss to the sunset peaks for me.
The weather has been beautiful here, and I've been eating like there's no tomorrow... bbq galore. Yee-haw! Think I'll roll myself downstairs for a late-night movie with my Honey... and maybe we'll share a chocolate and almond covered ice cream bar...
Saturdays are always Netflix Night (sipping Disaronno amaretto watching Being Julia, The Jacket and Hostage this weekend)...shot off some fireworks tonight (literally, not figureatively), tomorrow having hotdog lunch with the inlaws
