A good friend of the family, and a best friend of Nurse Sis was just diagnosed with bone cancer. She has two young kids.
Thought some of you might be interested in this product. Customized silicone bracelets. Just bought one off a friend in the Armstrong yellow color that actually says "Fuck Cancer." And people have been noticing.
Makes me feel a little better.

One of my mentors and friends -- who was also the officiant at my wedding -- has stage 3 breast cancer (the highest is 4). She goes in for surgery on the 30th...and her dad has colon cancer at 98 years old. She moved down to L.A. to take care of him before he was diagnosed, just because of his advanced age, and now she's all alone down there battling her own cancer, too.
FUCK cancer is right. Makes me sick just thinking about it.

My sister was going to get shirts that say "Cancer Sucks". They had them for babies and she didn't feel it was appropriate for her son to be wearing "Fuck Cancer". lol
But my sentiments are there! I hope your friend pulls through.
