Real Shocker

Couldn't see this result coming...nope, not at all:

Marianne -- The Romantic
You're Mariane Dashwood from Sense &
Sensibility
! You are the romantic
youngster, also found in Jane Austen's work as
Catherine of Northanger Abbey and
possibly Georgiana Darcy of Pride and
Prejudice
. You wander through life like Red
Riding Hood in the forest, picking wildflowers
and humming a happy song... and you can't see
the wolf right in front of you! Ruled by heart
and not by head, you are best advised to to
learn a little caution, before you are forced
into a better acquaintance with the ways of the
world.

You realize I'm going to only call you Miss Dashwood from now on.

Woo hooo! I'm Eliza! "Perhaps the brightest and best character in all of English literature, you are intelligent, lively, lovely-- in short, you are the best of company. Your only foibles are that you stick with your first impressions... and your family is quite intolerable." Well that goes without saying...

Bien sur!

Okay, we've got out nicknames. Can't imagine it any other way. Now if only I could learn to love Col. Brandon instead of Willoughby...

I am so ready for my Mr. Darcy...even a Mark Darcy. ;)

Great quiz! I'm Lydia:
"You are Lydia from Pride and Prejudice! You are a young, lively creature, without much thought for much of anything beyond the next moment of pleasure... at your most extreme, you are Louisa Musgrove in Persuasion, jumping foolishly from a great height." (uh-oh) "At your best, you are the belle of the ball, the life of the party-- any party-- every party! You are the most fun, and you know it."

Well, who could resist such an obviously astute quiz??

PS I got your Christmas card (some time ago!!) It got so many comments. "Who do you know in HOLLYWOOD?"

I'm Emma? wtf??

Ronnie, too cool :) You ARE fun! And I'm glad my geographical location lead to good party chatter! I love that card. It really is pretty durn cool living here.

MIM, a mere 5 minutes of CC's time. I want to know the results!

Bri, :) If you let that bomb drop at a con, you'd have your hands full with the comic geek girls asking for autographs. Have you seen the new movie? I know L & R enjoyed, but Heidi and I loved it, too. She took me to see it on the Paramount lot. Quelle glamour.

Chris, um, sorry? Guess the quiz isn't tuned in to gender. Luckily, you're a secure male who enjoys setting up dates for his single lawyer friends....

OK, FWIW...

"You are the true hero(ine)! Sensible, steady and mature, you are the lynchpin of your circle of friends and family.

Male: At your best, you are a dynamo combination of Mr. Knightley from Emma and Colonel Brandon from Sense and Sensibility. At your worst, you may be briefly beguiled by silly women (cf. Edward Ferrars in Sense and Sensibility and Captain Wentworth's behavior toward Lousia Musgrove in Persuasion), but in the end, you'll win through and end up with the proper heroine."

Go fig.

Sorry, you're about 12 years too late. Alas... ;-)

OK, CC is apparently "Eliza Bennett." Per CC, she has been tested as her on two other different Austen quizzes, but she really enjoyed the answer options on this one.
