Harry Potter & the Goblet of Sex

Has anyone else seen Harry Potter? NO WAY I'm letting some little kid of mine see that. Holy freakin' Cinemax for hormonal teens.

i didn't think it was so bad... though the scenes of harry having nightmares looked like he was, um, you know, pleasuring himself or having nocturnal emissions. during that opening scene, lots of teenage kids in my theatre snickered.

Haven't seen this potter yet, but... anyone else think Anakin's nightmare scene in Attack of the Clones was a bad camera decision?

:) I don't know, a girlfriend of mine and I saw it Saturday, and we both turned and stared at each other at least 5 yimes during the movie. And we're both progressive Hollywood dwellers. Not exactly prudes. Tkere were some hot stares of desire being thrown around that 30-foot screen, not the least of which was the 30-year old russian hunk looking ready to ravish the 12-year-old Hermione. Guess they do things differently at old Hogwarts.

...hmm, reminds me of a couple of mutants I used to know...

In real life, the Russian actor is 25 and Emma Watson is 15. He was playing an older student - a 'Senior' - to Hermione's 'Freshman'. Also, if she's in the same class as Harry doesn't that mean she's also around 14 - Harry's age? Are you telling me there isn't a 14 yr. old girl out there who wishes she were with a 17-19 yr. old? Or that teens of that age don't flirt or lust or look wantingly after one another?

Puh-lease...

LDH, I know, right? magneto and rogue all over again!

Bill, dude! They LOOKED the ten year age difference. My whole point. In the real world, that's rape and we give the twenty-five year old man jail time. I'm closer to the guy's age, and a much more appropriate choice on every level than a 14 year old so ani she looks 12. The magic of Hollywood.

When I was 15 I had a crush on a senior, but I also thought anyone over 20 was disgusting. I'm not saying it's not a fantasy of men subscribing to Almost 18, or for that matter most of internet porn. But it's awkward as ass in a kids movie that 99% of the kids watching ADORE and treat as canon. Ick!

ana....anareoxic or however the hell you don't spell it. If she wasn't a child actress I'd hope it was an awkward growth spurt, but unfortunately she's an actress locked into a series deal...I'm sure the producers are taking food out of her hands. Yes, seen that several times on a shoot. Horrifying!

If you're talking age gaps in movies what can be more disturbing than little orphan Annie (Anakin) eventually getting it on with Padme, who is roughly twice his size when he first meets her.
14 - 9 ? that's one hell of an age gap.
