Thank you. I don't know what I was thinking. I need to figure out how to abbreviate that to a "wish you were here" type line so it fits on a postcard. I haven't condensed my freelings to a one liner yet.
Yeah, I totally respect what you said in the earlier comment about not seeing eye to eye with me...it's amazing to me how many people I love whom I don't see eye to eye with, but just really listening to them express themselves to get where they're coming from makes me feel closer to them than a shared perspective anyway. In the end, what does it really matter if we vote for the same people or listen to the same bands or like the same color if the person is someone I respect or adore?
Re: letting out secrets...I hope you feel a little clearer and heard having said it to me. Saying it to a ton of strangers on the web really isn't for everybody, and I can tell you I've lost friendships over it and hurt other's feelings and been misjudged by friends and family...but I like to think that it does some good, and particularly lets guys have some real insight into one woman's mind.
And your secret...may I say, you'd be surprised how much friends and family notice, especially over the years. I would bet in many of their eyes, you're not shouldering blame.
Good thoughts to you, my internet buddy. I hope you heal up stronger than before.
