Pitching Advice
I have a friend who is coming to town to pitch his comic to some networks this July as a preteen cartoon. He's looking for any special pearls of wisdom you active screenscribes have unearthed during your Hollywood trials. What say ye?
I'm not sure about Otis, but as you can tell from my blog I'm full of hot air. Good to know the breeze should have an expiration mark: DING! "Thank you and Good Night!"
I have absolutely no authority on this subject, but here's my advice: go watch Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, that movie that george clooney directed about Chuck Berris. He did a bunch of cool crazy stuff to get producers to pick up his ideas!
Stay professional. I was pitching an agent one time when he said the stupidest thing I've heard since third grade and I burst out in gales of incredulous laughter. So, you know, I won't be pitching him anymore...
keep it short. No pitch ever got better at the twenty minute mark.

I have recurring night terrors after reading that experience. Sooo something I would eff up and do. Ugh.
