(I think that was the same summer I went five days without food just for the hell of it.)

After a couple of weeks, I discovered that I was very comfortable going to bed around 3 or 4 a.m. and waking up around 9 or 10 a.m. Even though I only got 6 or 7 hours of sleep, I felt much more rested than I did when I slept 8 or 9 hours on a "normal" schedule. It was great.

Alas, classes, the working world, and family life have not accommodated my needs in the many years since. It's a compromise I'm willing to make. Anyway, I doubt I have the same metabolism anymore. Ah, but there are still nights when the muses of the dark stillness trill their siren song....Brian Fieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16347700145666751363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11017722.post-1140048929771497442006-02-15T16:15:00.000-08:002006-02-15T16:15:00.000-08:00I'm the same way (guess what time it is here?) :)I'm the same way (guess what time it is here?)

:)ecogrrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14270002871212104557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11017722.post-1140038390656222642006-02-15T13:19:00.000-08:002006-02-15T13:19:00.000-08:00Oh I knew you were asleep... hence the "Good morni...Oh I knew you were asleep... hence the "Good morning Viet Nam" wakeup call...

And I was up at 430 this morning...different Bat-time, different Bat-channel.Cunninghamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07137025404327426886noreply@blogger.com
